Not only the growth of transactions in May after the end of April has been a constant tradition, but this growth has been noticed almost every year traditionally immediately after the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
In this way, the two time variables of the housing market these days are in favor of the growth of transactions in May. However, what causes the housing market activists and some experts to be hesitant about the increase in the volume of real estate purchases and sales in the coming month is the uncertainty of the price situation. Official statistics on the volume of transactions and the average price of housing in different areas of Tehran for the last four months (December 1401 to April 1402) have not been published.
Therefore, traders, especially buyers, have to react more cautiously to the suggested prices of sales files. As long as a light is not turned on in the housing market and transparency is not returned to this market, we cannot expect the traditional drivers of the relative prosperity of transactions to work properly and be able to encourage market participants to participate in transactions.
